On Saturday, February 24th, we co-organized with KLL ADVISORY, a leading expert in governance and strategy, a roundtable titled “Resilience and Expansion Strategies for Tunisian Businesses: Navigating the Socio-Economic Crisis!”.
Mediterranean Development Initiative was represented in Tunis by Koetsenruijter Adrianus, member of our advisory committee and former representative of the European Union in Tunisia.
The roundtable brought together key representatives from the private sector (Tunisian Federation of Textiles and Clothing FTTH, UTICA, Confederation of Citizen Enterprises of Tunisia (CONECT), ATUGE, Tunisian-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry CCITF, Tunisian-Dutch Chamber of Commerce, etc.) as well as eminent figures from the private industrial and agricultural sectors.
Discussions revolved around various topics such as:
- Socio-Economic Development
- Co-Development
- Diversification and Innovation in Funding Sources
- Restructuring and Internationalization of Businesses
- Origins of Socio-Economic Difficulties
- • Emigration of Young Talents
- The Situation of Tunisian Employers’ Organizations and their Capacity for Action
Participants agreed on the importance of defining a sustainable and lasting format to maintain, unite, and strengthen this initiative in order to contribute to socio-economic development and reinforce the ecosystem. Stay tuned for upcoming events!
